First days of summer 2012

Summer has been in full swing for a week already and cabin fever has already begun to set in.  It is already about 110 degrees outside here in the lovely Californian desert so I am determined to find ways to occupy our time and make the most of the summer.  Last night we went stargazing in the desert.  Today I taught Bug how to fingerweave.  We also went to Lowes and bought tiles to tile our unfinished bathroom mirror.  Tonight we made popcorn and had family movie night and watched Harry Potter. 



Bug was very proud of her first attempt at finger weaving and even sent her first text (using Mommy's phone) to her first grade teacher and Grandma's to show them what she had done.
